AI and Business Event Trends in 2026

AI and Business event trends in 2026

As we begin another year of events, 2026 is gearing up to be a big year for events in Melbourne.
I attended AIME for the first time and there was so much to take in. But the biggest conversation was about AI.

Melbourne is set to host a number of large events in 2026 and AI is one of the trends that are shaping business events this year. According to SpiceNews “AI matures from tool to integrated capability” and “The 2026 business events landscape is being shaped by the fusion of human expertise, thoughtful application of technology and rising expectations around purpose and measurable outcomes.”

This news is music to my ears, as I introduce On the Spot photos to the services I provide, as an event photographer. Not limited to just Melbourne, on the spot photos uses AI to match photos that I take in my camera, to selfie photos that guests and delegates upload using a QR Code. They receive a link to a private gallery of photos they are in and can share the photos straight away, at the event, on social media or within their business communities.

As SpiceNews says in their article “The 2026 business events landscape is being shaped by the fusion of human expertise, thoughtful application of technology and rising expectations around purpose and measurable outcomes.”

To see how I’m implementing AI in my business to provide answers to event organisers requests to share photos instantly, at events, please have a look at On the Spot Photos and see if I can provide the answers you need.
It’s quick and easy to add this service to your events and your guests will thank you for it!
