Seeing my work in action

06 Jun Seeing my work in action

Last year, I had the pleasure of photographing the History Teachers’ Association of Victoria (HTAV), Annual Conference for the first time. It was a great couple of days, with lots of opportunities to photograph various aspects of the conference, including the Opening Address, Keynote Presentations, break out sessions and workshops. There were awards given out, prizes to be won and a Social Hour to be had. There were also exhibitors who partnered with HTAV who contributed financially to support the Conference.

With the photos I took, HTAV have used some of them to create a program for this year’s event. The thing I love about my work is how my images have created a great narrative to the program, married with the information participants will require, to create a document that is informative and relatable. Images help recall memories of events and people you may have met or if they haven’t been before, people can imagine themselves there.

I will once again be photographing the annual conference this year between 26-27th July and I look forward to creating a new series of images for next years event program. Here are some samples of this year’s program. How fabulous does it look?!
